“What have you done for me lately?”
should not be the first question we are ask of our
employees,
coworkers,
colleagues,
friends,
or lovers.
We should ask,
“What have I done for you lately?”
Have I asked about your
family,
your dog,
your golf game?
Have I asked,
“How can I help you be successful?”
(And actually cared about the answer.)
Care for the person and (most often)
the outcome takes care of itself.
