If writing,
write.
If driving,
drive.
If listening,
hear.
If looking,
see.
If doing,
do.
If being,
be present.
(I guess that’s the point - be present or your life passes by without you in it.)
Reflections
If writing,
write.
If driving,
drive.
If listening,
hear.
If looking,
see.
If doing,
do.
If being,
be present.
(I guess that’s the point - be present or your life passes by without you in it.)
The fear
of losing it all
led
to missing much of it all.
Typically,
I’m moving so fast
I cannot
see,
blind to
joy and beauty.
To see, one must look.
To look one must stop.
To stop, one must trust.
This self-improvement,
like any renovation,
is taking longer than expected.
Putting out clothes
Sunday morning
work is calling
and all I
want to walk barefoot
in the grass.
And when
he let go of what was
supposed to be
he found
what was.
And what was
held all he could have ever
imagined.
When an invitation says,
“All you need to do is show up.”
I think,
“Showing up is the most difficult work.”
Rough edges
make interesting pictures
but not good
sleeping partners.
What truly
matters
cannot be
accounted.
Learning to let go
is …
everything.
