SEEING TRUTH
When I (finally) saw truth,
its eyes blinked back at me
in the mirror.
NO ELECTRONIC INTERFERENCE
walking,
stopping,
listening,
thinking,
laughing,
crying -
better experienced without electronic devices
COFFEE BIRDS
The birds wake me
with their whistles and woo-hoos
like they are on their second cup of coffee.
(gotta stop putting it in the bird bath!)
OPTOMETRIST'S WISDOM
Your eyesight is fine,
the optometrist opined,
but to truly see
you may need to clear
your mind
YESTERDAY'S CLOUDS
Allowing yesterday’s
clouds to block today’s
sun precludes seeing
what may
come.
