invisible shackles
hold us all,
back,
down.
systematic - many.
oppressive - some.
of our own making - majority.
freedom begins in our minds
(but it doesn’t end there. if any of us are to be truly free, we must all be free)
Reflections
invisible shackles
hold us all,
back,
down.
systematic - many.
oppressive - some.
of our own making - majority.
freedom begins in our minds
(but it doesn’t end there. if any of us are to be truly free, we must all be free)
Routine builds
flexibility,
tenacity.
Obvious, right?
Then, how is your routine
serving you?
The arbitrary, unspoken
deadline,
income,
body shape
rarely serves
to bring us
life -
only strife.
(seek clarity about what matters)
When you feel
flat,
down,
low,
remember the trampoline.
It gathers energy
at the bottom
to fling you
to new heights.
If you don’t
allow for,
anticipate,
make room for the
unexpected surprises,
they will
honor your wishes
by not
appearing.
Sometimes,
compartmentalization is good.
Even God
separated the day from
the night
and took a nap
after work.
Don’t stop
and
think.
Never stop thinking.
The answers are in the
unfolding.
There is
always unfinished
business.
Choose yours.
For an interesting life:
Ask: what is possible?
Then: seek to do it. see where it leads.
Go back to the top. Again and again.
Turn on your ring light.
Adjust filters.
Pick a background.
Look at the camera when talking (not the screen).
Even if you’re sitting in a bedroom
and
not wearing pants,
you can
show up.
