HAPPINESS IS NOT AN INGREDIENT

You may notice

happiness

is not an ingredient.

You can’t

buy it at the store,

order online,

or find it at the farmer’s market.

(despite what the ads tell you)

Happiness is a result

of focusing,

getting perspective,

and finding new meaning.

It’s a result of

pursuing dreams,

embracing challenges,

and loving the process.

It’s a result of

ending the outward comparisons

and competing only with yourself.

Happiness is what happens

when you are cooking up

a life of giving and growing

and you forget you were

seeking

happiness

in the first place.
