Acceptance and gratitude

Acceptance of our past:

Of all the failures

Of all the things we never want to go through again.

 

Gratitude for the past and the present:

Grateful to have become who we are

Grateful for the opportunities of today

Grateful for what we have

 

Mix these vigorously with

 

Growth:

Read and learn something new

Take a class

Challenge yourself physically

Become a better lover

Deepen friendships intentionally

Get a coach

 

And

Contribution:

Serve something greater than yourself

Mentor someone

Teach

Give money to a cause

Help someone do something

they didn’t think they could do themselves.

 

This is a recipe for happiness:
