THE TRAP

In your mind, there is a trap,

a downward spiraling loop of

thinking

and

feeling

leading only to

darker regions.

 

 

The trap is set with a thought:

“I need something BIG to change my life.”

But then, every idea becomes either

Overwhelming

--”that will take hours!”--

or

too small

-- “that won’t do anything.”

 

This downward loop feeds on itself

until one is caught in the darkness

with no light and no energy to act.

 

Trapped.

 

The only way out is to

STOP

thinking,

analyzing,

perseverating,

and

DO

something,

anything,

so your body

gets involved.

 

Go for a walk.

Do squats.

Jump up and down.

Shake and scream.

 

Break the spiral.

Break the trap.

 

This is how you change your life --

One small action at a time.
