Days when you wake up

a little less than inspired,

wondering if it’s worth it,

regretting the past,

fearing the future,

are the days for  starting with

self-compassion.

 

Forgive your past,

let go of the future (for a moment),

and embrace right now,

 

Wonder at the

overwhelming beauty of who you are,

breathe deeply,

and commit to one loving act

towards another.

 

Then, let the day begin.
