THE ELEPHANT IN YOUR MIND

The thing you want to ignore.

The obsession.

The addiction.

The hurt.

The guilt.

The anger.

 

The more you try to ignore it,

the larger it grows.

Just like when someone says,

“Don’t think of an elephant.”

 

So I say:

Think of the elephant, give it a name

and deal with it.  

They are easier to train when they’re small.
