UNBROKEN

Breaking free has the word, “break” in it.

 

You will need to break through your fears.

 

Then, you will break

your old rules,

your thought patterns,

your work patterns,

your unhelpful habits.

 

You will practice

taking a break,

to listen to the birds,

smell the fresh cut grass,

and still the turbulent waters of your mind.

 

And when you have broken everything

unhelpful,

unforgiving,

and unloving--

 

You will find yourself

unbroken.
