CARROTS AND STICKS

Anger does not long motivate,

nor does fear.

Dangling carrots

or

promised sticks

keep one focused

only for a short time.

To achieve your goals,

or inspire others

(for more than an

hour,

day,

week,

or a month)

the spark must be internalized.

The drive must come from within,

to do something more,

something greater,

to help others win.
